Asked to deliver 4 Senior Devops Engineers by a growing SaaS business looking to significantly expand their team. The requirement was for a group of Senior Engineers with similar but complimentary skills sets (primarily revolving around AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes). Over the course of 3 months, we mapped the market, made approaches to suitable candidates, and coordinated over 15 first stage interviews. 4 offers made in that time, 3 of which were accepted, and the final role was filled through a direct applicant to the client. All candidates were still in post a year later and candidates and clients were happy.

Their tech stack is one of the most in demand out there (Node, React, AWS) and finding candidates is always a challenge. The key here is understanding why this business is truly unique in their sector, and what that means to the engineers joining the team. This allows us to be their voice in the busy candidate market, placing 7 candidates to date and counting.

CTO – Fintech Start Up

Referred to the founders of a Fintech Start up seeking their first CTO, the challenge here was to align the expectations of the founders with that of the candidates bearing in mind the realities of the market. We worked with the founders to understand what was required, what was desired and how we were to promote the business to a very specific pool of candidates meeting their criteria. Over the course of 7 weeks, there were 6 first stage interviews with ultimately an offer made and accepted.
